You’ve likely noticed if you’ve seen the home page of this site recently, but I’ve gone and done the unimaginable task of starting a YouTube channel.
It took longer than I’d have liked, but now I’ve launched with three videos totaling a whopping 13 views. It’s a starting point, and learning video shooting and editing has been interesting, so I’m looking forward to making more. From what I understand a YouTube following is grown through consistent, quality uploads, and I think I can manage both those things.
Of course, the videos will focus on short term rental property investing. I don’t think there’s too many creators in this space, so with a bit of luck and hard work I might be able to carve myself out a nice little community. I’ve been working on growing my Twitter followers as well, so I’m hopeful that some day one group can feed into the other, and vice versa.
And even if it goes nowhere, it’s still fun to do and good to learn some new skills. If even one person learns something about rental property investing from me, I’ll consider that a huge accomplishment.
